Starting this project, I was skeptical. Based in Sydney and having faced setbacks with two other teams, my expectations were guarded. Yet, the journey with CodeBright has exceeded my initial expectations. After seeking additional guarantees and reassurance, which were graciously provided, the team's effort on our first public release has garnered well-deserved feedback. I'm the founder of Eneo, a technology startup based in Australia. A little over a year ago I hired CodeBright to develop the platform and I wanted to share my experience working with the team. While looking for the right development partner, I've reached out to and vetted a number of web development companies across the globe and CodeBright immediately stood out among them as I got good communication from the first engagement, I sent fairly high level requirements (and instead of templated responses) I got a very well throughout flowchart outlining the entire business logic of my future platform as well as a list of product related questions that were spot on. They also didn't hound or hassle me with automatic emails clearly generated by a CRM like other companies did. It was clear to me that the team actually took the time to do a deep dive into the requirements I provided and also thought about things I hadn't thought of at that point, which was very helpful to me. This process gave me a much better idea of the level of complexity, what it would take to develop my app and put CodeBright into the top 3 candidates. After we've completed the discovery (which was extremely useful) and design phases I knew that the team at CodeBright had the skills to develop this system for my startup. What sealed the deal was the pricing that CodeBright came in with. Using an Australian based company was out of the question because it was at least double the cost of overseas developers, so I shopped around, compared a number of quotes from different companies and ultimately decided to go with CodeBright because of their combination of low cost and good communication. The project is now finished and all invoices fully paid but CodeBright continue to give me support, advice and still have good communication.

These guys have done an amazing job with the iOS and Android app development! The product was delivered well ahead of the deadline, even with a few hiccups with my designer- the team worked hard to be able to launch the apps during a very opportune time on the market. That was impressive! I also appreciate that the CodeBright team was on top of things, if they needed something from me- they asked ahead of time. I found the checklists and the overall process very helpful, easy to follow which helped me be prepared ahead of time for what's to come at different stages of the project. It was also important for me to be able to meet with the representative in person, For things that the team could improve upon- there was really nothing major. If I have to suggest something- I'd say it'd be helpful in some cases to implement certain designs on a smaller scale, to see how they look on actual devices before implementing it globally but I understand why in our case the team has used the other approach. And this is me nitpicking since I don't really have anything negative to say. I've shared these things with CodeBright during our retrospective call. Even though I'm the client and CodeBright is a software company- I felt like they were definitely part of my team, we want the same outcome, we want to see apps succeed, to create the best product and for it to be on time. I'm very happy with the end product and the end result, the apps are already getting good traction! I would definitely recommend CodeBright!

Our startup hired CodeBright to develop a MVP iOS mobile application.
