InMotion Hosting is by far the most unprofessional hosting company I've ever dealt with. I purchased a VPS plan at the beginning of January, only for them to abruptly terminate my plan without any explanation or warning. This is completely unacceptable! Their lack of transparency and communication shows a blatant disregard for their customers. I contacted their support to find out why this happened, and all I got were vague, useless responses. For a company claiming to be reliable, this level of incompetence is shocking. If you're considering InMotion Hosting, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. A hosting company that can't even respect its customers enough to provide a reason for terminating a service doesn't deserve your time or money. Avoid at all costs!

STAY AWAY from InMotion - much better options out there! I have/had been with InMotionHosting for a year. I migrated over a dozen websites onto a premium wordpress plan. Things were running relatively smoothly for nearly a year. Some sporadic downtime and SSL handshake errors. However, over the course of about two months it was becoming very frequent. SSL handshake errors were happening a few times per day - lasting only a matter of seconds to a few minutes. Then UpTimeRobot captured 8 significant downtimes in the course of over 4 weeks. To top it off all of my cron jobs were being deleted/removed within 1-2 days of them being created. Clearly this is detrimental when to your clients which translate into my organization looking poorly. I was forced to move my services elsewhere. When I reached out to Customer Service (and waited nearly 7 days for a response after pushing for an answer) I was simply told that I was past the 90 day refund period. No pro-rated refund, credit, apology, nothing! This company DOES NOT stand by their product/service. I will never being doing business with them again. Company Reply: "I deeply apologize for the challenges you've faced since the server upgrade on July 24, 2024. We've received numerous reports of issues with ngx353, and rest assured, we are actively working to stabilize the server. To address this, we can offer to migrate you to a different server that hasn't encountered these problems. Typically, migrations take 24-48 hours. We understand that you are outside the 90-day refund window, but we're excited to offer our assistance in migrating your services to a new server and providing all the support you need to ensure everything runs smoothly. We know you've already made the move to a new provider, but since a refund for the remaining time on the services isn't possible, we can still help you complete the migration, allowing you to utilize the time you've paid for." INMOTIONHOSTING.COM DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TELL ME THAT THEY MADE A SERVER UPGRADE THAT FAILED. NOPE, THEY SIMPLY LEFT ME AND OTHERS ON THIS JUNKY SERVER UPGRADE. AND THEIR RESPONSE IT TO MIGRATE ME TO ANOTHER SERVER. SIMPLY PUT. INMOTIONHOSTING.COM WILL NOT DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR THE CUSTOMER.

I absolutely LOVE InMotion Hosting. A few years ago I had lost my job at another company, was in debt, and on the verge of becoming homeless. InMotion hosting hired me with no experience, provided paid training for 8 weeks, and gave me a $1500 sign-on bonus in my 2nd paycheck. I was able to stretch my paid training out to 10 weeks, then when they wanted me to start working taking calls from their rude customers, and getting treated badly by their managers, I just quit and basically told them to **** OFF! What a bunch of losers! If you have an interview with them, bring in a box of Cinnamon Rolls as a gift, they will love it!

HOSTING NIGHTMARE!! I have been with InMotion the last 3 years. Since they moved their physical servers in mid-May, I have lost half of my website (pages, products, information, pricing, photographs - just disappeared! Not deleted - but non-existent anymore). I can prove they existed in wayback machine... The backups were only of the last few weeks, so didn't go back far enough. Numerous chats and emails to complain made no difference... they just said they didn't know why it happened, gave no explanation and no suggestion of remediation. Have also experienced my website being down every day for the past several months - despite them always saying there's no issues with their servers. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. :(

Hosts malicious domains and refuse to do anything about them. Their IPs regularly end up on blocklists because the of the sheer amount of malicious email that come from their addresses. Also a jump-point for several VPNs that are used maliciously. Avoid this host.

Our company has been using inmotion hosting for several years now. We've been very happy and satisfied with the speed, reliability, ease of use, and the great customer service! The servers are blazing fast and easy to configure. They have some of the most competitive pricing we had seen especially for what they provide. We have used many of the most highly rated hosting sites previously and none of them match our experience with inmotion hosting. If you are a business owner this is the partner you want for your website and online needs!

I needed a change in my hosting service and searched for a more localized presence. InMotion Hosting received high marks and I took the chance and made the change. The transfer of the Domain was seemless but there was an issue with DNS Propagation that took a while to resolve, so it was necessary to get involved with tech support right away. It turned out to be a setting that transferred from the old host settings and had nothing to do with a 'normal transfer' of a domain. In the end it was resolved but it allowed me to see the value of 24/7 support right away that was in my timezone and not 8 hours ahead of me. I have been with InMotion for several months now without a single issue or a second of down time and couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence about a good host platform, I highly recommend InMotion Hosting. Thank you.

Customer service has always been very responsive and helpful. InMotion provides great value and more features at a reasonable cost, especially compared to the "bigger" WordPress hosting companies.
