The Cider House

An excellent place to take the family, hang out with friends or bring your significant other! Casual dining experience with amazing ciders, craft beverages and delicious food. I got the Va-Ginga Shrimp and the wife got the Full English Breakfast and both meals were VERY good. Reasonably priced, too for this day and age! Service was great.. We had the pleasure of dealing with Chris and Scott behind the bar and they were both very courteous and attentive to us for the entire duration of our visit. We will definitely be back. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

The Cider House is a wonderful drinking and dining experience. They offer a nice selection of ciders and menu items; the food is not only delicious but perfectly portioned and left us feeling satisfied with room for a delicious dessert and after dinner espresso martini. We are on vacation and had to bring our dog; they welcomed us and our fur baby! Service is amazing, food was great; ciders are REALLY good! Atmosphere and experience was more like 10 stars! The locals are so lucky to have The Cider House! Thank you Scott! You are amazing !

Awesome place to enjoy some great ciders, good food, and watch some sports! Probably the only place in Winchester that you can sit and catch a cricket game on TV. The Cider House has a very warm and cozy environment, though the cider might have enhanced that Our bartender Scott was amazing! Scott had some great recommendations of drinks and was very friendly and knowledgeable on what the bar offered. Highly recommend trying the Wicked Wiles cider on tap.

We loved everything about our stop here! We had a flight of cider as well as the rye barrel aged cider--excellent. We also had the English Ploughman's platter with the pork pie, pickled onions, garlic chutney, grapes, cheese and bread and oh my gosh every single thing was so good and not like anything you'd get at any typical place. The crab cakes were phenomenal, especially accompanied by the roasted parsnips. A sublime meal - highly recommend!

We had a lovely curry for lunch in a tastefully designed and comfortable setting. Must try!

Went and visited the new downtown location for the first time when some friends came to visit Winchester. We each had a cider flight and shared a few different food items. The ciders were all delicious (especially the hybrid of the 522 and the Ginga) and the owner Stephen stopped by to see how everything was and explain some of the history behind the ciders. We really enjoyed the bangers and mash, Mac and cheese, and garlic knots. Overall it was a great place to spend time catching up with each other and trying a bunch of different ciders! Looking forward to going back.

Came here for our anniversary and have had the best time of our whole weekend! If you come in April give the "blooming blossom" a try, it's wonderful! And the Hopposites Attract is my personal favorite. The manager is so friendly and the chef is amazing. The Loaded Baked Potato soup is OFF THE CHAIN! I have only rave reviews to give Rob and Scott! We WILL be back!
