Astound | Port Angeles

This is a horrible business to work with. I have always paid their bill fully and on time, but I continue to get an overdue notice, tacking on late fees..the bill is now up to $345, but when I call them they say "oh you are fine. You don't owe anything" and wha-la! I get another billing in the mail that is threatening and in red. ARGH! I've had it! Altho i've had no complaints with the service, I'm done dealing with their business. So, .really? you can't even send a correct billing?

Initially great internet speed over time degrading slows down around 9-9:30 pm. Symptoms and diagnostics show throttling. 5-17-25 starting at 8 pm no internet service using cellular data to post. It's now 9 pm and still no internet! I need to check for other providers.

Just a joke. Equipment worked for 2 weeks. Stayed on hold for over an hour to find out I need to go to the local store to get equipment replaced. Went to Sequim they won't change out the equipment. So we went to Port Angeles and they closed 10 minutes early. There is no local phone number for either office So we canceled our service

They are so bad . bad customer service.My husband called to see about the bill and he was on hold all day got hung up on.My husband was seeing if they would lower are bill since they keep raising the prices every month finally they told him they would lower in 20$ so it would be under 100$ and then are bill came and it was over 200$ and we don't rent equipment and they are saying we have equipment? Husband is Pissed off dont go through Astound or your bill will go up every other month and can't get ahold of them.

My service technician, Glenn was incredible! Professional, polite, and kind enough to resolve other minor issues with my phone connection.. Glenn was here to exchange my modem. Glenn is an asset to Astound and should receive a tremendous back pat!

Joe was here today to solve,untangle,up-grade & get Internet service back on track & working properly . He was effecient, personable & with one of the BEST customer service attitudes I have encountered in many months!

Have astound since we moved from California about 2.5 years ago. So I have only Comcast and At&t to compare them to. Comcast/Xfinity was the WORST(minus 5 Stars) and at&t was OK. Why I gave astound 5 Stars. Yesterday I replaced astounds modem & Eeros equipment with our own that we purchased to save some money. Their online support, the first person knocked out the internet when I just asked her a question about doing this on a Sunday since I need them to swap Mac addresses. The second one said 'yes" I can see your modem and it's online and said she has the Mac address of our new modem. But it's never worked until I called again after I figured out that they couldn't have my Mac address which is what was true, confirmed by the 3rd person. So it took three people(2 to inflict damage and hours and one who knows what he was doing) and 4 hours to get this done. Despite that, I still think their service is really good to great. The initial installer was awesome. Very reliable service.

Glen was super helpful and efficient! He was very knowledgeable, kind, and helped get everything fixed for us! We were so grateful for all his help.
