SoLu Estate Winery & Meadery

We went here for the first and LAST time. First off, if you're going to market yourself as a winery and meadery you should have more than three to four types of mead. Four types of mead in my book doesn't make you a meadery. Then, we got home and there is something floating in the bottle of mead that my friend purchased. In the other picture it shows that we haven't even opened the bottle of mead. To be honest, I'd give this place zero stars if I could.

Great place to spend the day! Great food at the food truck, so many drink choices, live music in 2 different spaces, beautiful grounds to explore, and DOGS!! I've been there a few times and will definitely be back!

Cool place with live music and a fun atmosphere. The only thing I would say is that we had two flights to try a little bit of everything and we weren't that impressed. We'd highly recommend the sangria and their bourbon. Cool place for some fall photos too.

Poor experience at Solu today. The house dogs completely forced us out. Nipping, growling, biting at our two LEASHED under control dogs. Owner asked if our dogs were in heat as 10 house dogs continued to pounce our two dogs. The answer is no. Both fixed. Poor experience as no owner or staff came to aid in the house dogs behavior. Unable to even spend time at the winery, had to dump our freshly purchased drinks, as our poor dogs were continuously pounced on and growled/nipped at. Very upsetting. Attempting to get our dogs in the vehicle and two house dogs (one named Fitz) continued to antagonize and growl at our animals. Very poor experience. Do not bring your properly tamed and leashed animals with you!

We love SoLu. We aren't necessarily 'drinkers', but we love to have fun. SoLu provides an opportunity to do that in a laid back and family-like atmosphere. Weekends are filled with activities and live music. Recently we volunteered at Harvest Fest where we picked grapes, had sangria, and listened to a band after. We also had my daughter's 21st birthday party here in August. She was treated like a Queen (Craig is always our guide) and the charcuterie boxes were excellent. Our designated drivers were provided soda and water. And next month, we will be at SoLu for the Halloween themed wine walk. Don't drink wine? There are plenty of other options. And if you like dogs? This is heaven.

Wine, music, dogs... what could be better?! We absolutely love Solu! We highly recommend to all our friends and family. We love many of their wines but are not a fan of the meads. However they also offer beer, seltzers and mixed drinks so there is something for everyone. It is a very chill, family and dog friendly place. It is very public knowledge that there will be house dogs around so don't go if you really don't like dogs (but honestly who doesn't like dogs) We go with our two Golden Retrievers and kids and everyone has a great time! They do have plenty of seating but we often bring chairs and blanket too. The food available is a food truck (that is owned by Solu and always there). It is good and have never had anything we didn't like. We be beneficial to offer some healthier/lighter options in my opinion. The owner, TJ, is also so great! He goes above and beyond to make the customers happy. Also an owner who is always there on the property making sure his staff and customers are happy, you don't see that much anymore these days. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy each others company as well as good music!

What a wonderful venue for great wine and entertainment.

We had an amazing time doing the winery tour and then wrapped up the evening listening to music with sangria on the patio. So much fun!
